cove, a parenthesis of time

A personal concept project around contrast therapy.

Cove is the alcove: a recess, a pause carved out of something linear. Drawing from the degrees of variation between two extremes (heat/cold), the concept borrows from Roman columns and ancient thermal baths: strength, permanence, elevation toward the sacred, the rhythm of a ritual repeated.

Because we need to step out of the everyday's repetition to build a different one — the repetition of pausing. Together.

Rhythm. Breath. Pause.
